Who we are
Hosking Partners was established in 2013 to offer a global equity strategy to institutional investors.
We are a small, owner-managed partnership based in London.
Our team are pioneers of the capital cycle approach to investing.
Our differentiated approach is key to outperforming markets over the long-term.
Orthodoxy is not for us.
A capital cycle investment philosophy lies at the heart of what we do.
As a global equity manager, our universe is vast. The capital cycle methodology, allied with other behavioural frameworks, focuses our attention on what matters most.
A diversified portfolio and very long-term view allows us to accommodate opportunities within the portfolio that others cannot.

When not in the office, James can be found thinking about his next investment on the golf course or tennis court.

A former partner of Algebris Investments LLP, Django Davidson joined at the inception of Hosking Partners, spending 3 years working alongside Jeremy in a splendid Georgian townhouse in Dublin. Prior to Algebris Django worked at Deutsche Bank for 7 years where he worked in corporate finance and the bank equity research team.
Over the weekends Django can be found attempting – without much success – to nurture a wildflower meadow.

Prior to joining Hosking Partners, Steve was a founding partner at High Ground Investment Management and before that he was an Equity Fund Manager at Tesco Pension Investments. He started his buyside career 12 years earlier as an intern at The Children’s Investment Fund while completing a Masters in Mathematics (Msci) at Imperial College London.
Steve has an interest in all things that fly; birds, butterflies and flying himself in a small plane. When on the ground he is often caught reading with his cat not far away.
University College London, Law with French
Prior to joining Hosking Partners, Chris worked at Wellington Management and Goldman Sachs. He graduated from University College London where he read Law with French Law (LLB). Chris holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society UK.
Chris is an avid podcast listener and (dreadfully slow) marathon runner. When not using his running as an excuse to travel, Chris enjoys woodland walks with his wife, young daughter, and their Australian Labradoodle.
