Jeremy Hosking

Prior to founding Hosking Partners, Jeremy was one of the three founding partners and lead portfolio managers at Marathon Asset Management, where he worked for 26 years.

While at Marathon, Jeremy helped to develop the ‘capital cycle’ approach to investment.

He is a contributing author of both Capital Account and its sequel Capital Returns, essential reading for any capital cycle investor. His insights have also been featured across several prominent investment publications.

A heritage railways enthusiast, Jeremy invests in restoring and preserving steam locomotives. He actively supports various heritage railways trusts and museums, ensuring these vital elements of British history are preserved for future generations.
